Trail Run & Hike Hut-to-hut Tour Verwall

15:00 PM | Arrival and information
We arrive at Hotel Alpenfrieden in Kappl. After checking in, an information session about the hut-to-hut trail run follows. We discuss the program, the routes, and the weather forecast for the coming days. You will also meet the tour leaders and the other participants.

18:00 pm | Dinner
We enjoy a hearty dinner together at the hotel. This is a great moment to get to know the group better and recharge for the first mountain stage.

20:00 | Stuff Check
After dinner, we will jointly check the mandatory equipment and go through what to bring on the hut-to-hut trek. This way, you can be sure that you start the first stage well prepared.

6:30 | Breakfast
We start the day with a hearty breakfast at Hotel Alpenfrieden. Afterwards, we get our backpacks ready for the first mountain stage.

8:00 | Start of first stage
Today we are walking approximately 8 or 15 kilometers to the Darmstädter Hütte (choose your distance).
We head into the Verwall. Along the way, we take plenty of time for short breaks and our included lunch at the Niederelber Hütte.

15:00 | Arrival at the mountain hut
Upon arrival at the Darmstädter Hütte, we check in and there is time to relax. From the terrace, we enjoy the impressive view of the surrounding mountain peaks.

18:30 pm | Dinner
We eat together in the mountain hut and look back on our first stage. Afterwards, we discuss the route and weather forecast for the next day.

7:00 | Breakfast
After a night in the heart of the mountains, we start with breakfast at the Darmstädter Hütte. Afterwards, we get ready for perhaps the most special leg of this journey.

8:30 | Start of second stage
Today features a beautiful stage of approximately 15 kilometres on the program. We trek ever deeper into the Verwall towards the Neue Reutlinger Hütte. Here it becomes quieter and wilder. Along the way, we eat our packed lunch and scan the mountain slopes for marmots, chamois, and ibex.

15:00 PM | Arrival Neue Reutlinger Hütte
This is no ordinary mountain hut. The Neue Reutlinger Hütte is a small, remote self-catering hut in the middle of the mountains.

And tonight, the entire hut is ours. There is room for only 12 people, including our guides . No other guests, no crowds, and no hut warden. Just our group and the empty mountains around us.

18:30 | Cooking and eating together
We prepare dinner together and enjoy an evening you won't forget.

A small mountain hut, our own group, and absolutely no one else. You don't get much closer to a real mountain adventure than that.

7:00 | Breakfast
We prepare breakfast together in our own mountain hut. Afterwards, we tidy everything up and get ready for the next stage.

8:30 | Start of the third stage
We leave the Neue Reutlinger Hütte and continue through the Verwall. Today you can choose a route of approximately 15 or 22 kilometersAnother beautiful day along quiet mountain paths, past mountain lakes and through a rugged landscape where we can regularly encounter marmots, chamois, and ibex along the way.

12:30 | Lunch in the mountains
We are looking for a beautiful spot for our included lunch. In the middle of the mountains, hopefully with an amazing view.

15:30 PM | Arrival Neue Heilbronner Hütte
After the simplicity and seclusion of last night, this is a delightful surprise. The Neue Heilbronner Hütte has delicious showers, a great kitchen and surprisingly much comfortIt looks like a five-star mountain hotel in the middle of the mountains!

Backpack off, shower, and then relax on the terrace and enjoy everything we’ve been through these past few days.

18:30 pm | Dinner
In the evening, we sit down for a good dinner in the cabin. It is our last evening in the middle of the Verwall, so we are making the most of it.

07:30 | Breakfast
We start our last day in the mountains with breakfast at the Neue Heilbronner Hütte. Afterwards, we pack our backpacks for the final mountain stage.

09:00 | Start of final stage
Today we descend to Kappl via beautiful and varied mountain paths. Along the way, we look out one last time over the impressive mountain landscape of the Verwall – a spectacular descent of 10 or 25 km.

14:00 | Arrival in Kappl
Upon arrival at Hotel Alpenfrieden, we check in. The rest of the afternoon is free to shower, rest, and reflect on the hut-to-hut trek.

18:30 | Closing dinner
During the joint dinner, we look back on the past few days and pleasantly conclude the hut-to-hut trail run together.

08:00 | Breakfast
We are enjoying a hearty breakfast together at Hotel Alpenfrieden. A lovely moment to catch up on the trails, the mountain huts, and the adventures of the past few days.

10:00 | Check-out and departure
After breakfast, we check out and the hut-to-hut trail run comes to an end. With beautiful memories of the Paznaun Valley and the Silvretta, we travel back home.
